I am looking for healthy snacks since my husband and I are now eating a gut friendly, organic and now renal friendly diet. These bars fit the bill! My husband brings them on the golf course for energy and when he gets hungry. He loves them.

Surprisingly good! After learning that my blood sugar levels were slightly elevated i went looking for low-glycemic breakfast ideas and found this. While I am not certain they do qualify as low-glycemic (they are mostly made of oats, after all) they are really tasty and satisfying. Thank you so much for this recipe!

Most delicious recipe ever. Comes together SO FAST. I add chia seeds and sprinkle mini chocolate chips and coconut flakes on top. When I don’t have applesauce I’ve used coconut oil. Very easy adaptable recipe. Can’t stop making them. I use up over ripe freezer banana this way.

Oh my, I love this recipe!! I made it normally a few times, which is so yummy, and it’s also super customizable – I decided this week I wanted pumpkin bars so I replaced the applesauce with pumpkin puree, doubled the cinnamon and made it pumpkin pie spice instead, and added equal parts pumpkin puree to the peanut butter for the topping. They came out SOOOOO good and are exactly what I wanted!! I’ve added chocolate chips to this before as well. Absolutely loves these and they’re a staple of mine now 🙂
