The best tomato soup comes from fresh tomatoes! Mine is so similar, I add a bit of beef broth, just takes it to a little higher level!

Can I use Frozen tomatoes (from my garden). They were blanched, lost their skin and flash frozen. It’s winter, no tomatoes!

Very yummy! Thanks for the recipe. I ended up using an immersion blender at the end because I still had some tomato peel left. Worked great! I think my mid-tier blender couldn’t fully get the last bits. Can’t wait to make this for my upcoming dinner party. Already sent this recipe to a few of my recipe swapping friends!

Can we use cherry tomatoes or does it give a different flavor? I have so many frozen from this summers harvest!
